Friday's Reading Quiz
Don't forget, you have a reading quiz on Monday, September 21st. The pages are listed in the blogs below titled "Pages for Second Reading Assessment" and "More pages for second reading assessment." Please make sure you have read ALL of the pages. For five bonus points on your quiz, draw a small cartoon of Julius Caesar's assassination at the bottom of your paper.
Good luck to everyone!

Rome Project Examples
Hello, WHAP Warriors! Great job on your projects. Hopefully, now you have an understanding of all the eras of Rome: Republic to Dictatorship to Empire. Please let us know if you still have questions.
In case you did not get to finish notes on all the presentations, here are some examples of presentations that did a good job breaking down their era.

Changes to WHAP Calendar-IMPORTANT!
Hello, WHAP Warriors.
Due to the shortened bell schedule today (and some technology glitches in my class...sigh), we were not able to get through all the presentations in either my class or Ms. Jones class. Therefore, we are pushing your reading quiz to Monday, September 21st. I know, what a bummer. :) Here's what that means for you:
-Tomorrow in class, we will be finishing presentations and starting our China readings and India webquest. That means less homework for you this weekend-yay!
-Monday, you will have your Reading Assessment and access codes for textbooks will be distributed.
-Thursday, you will write a compare/contrast essay for a major grade.
-All other assignments will continue as originally planned.
Please note, all reading pages have been bumped back a day to correspond with this schedule change. The calendar below has been updated.
In case you don't finish the China readings in class tomorrow, I'm still including the links below for your access at home. Let us know if you have any questions!
