Truman Spy Dilemma Assessment
Following the instructions on the website below, you are going to read and select the primary sources that you think would be most helpful to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. You will have 45 minutes to read and make your selections. You may only make your selections once. Once you've made your final selections, you will be prompted to send your responses to your teacher. Make sure to put your full name in the Name field. In the Notes, you will need to write a 2-3 sentence explanation of WHY you selected that document and how it would be useful to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. For FULL CREDIT, incorporate historical facts that we have learned in class. Use the emails below to send to your teachers:
Mr. Kent- john.kent@cfisd.net
Ms. Gillihan- amanda.gillihan@cfisd.net
Based on the documents you choose, you will automatically be given a score on a scale of 45 points. The entire assessment will be graded on the scale below:
Relevant Selection of Documents- _______/45 points (automatically generated by simulation; up to 10 points can be won back based on the strength of your explanations; however, this is awarded at teacher discretion)
Explanation for Selection of Documents ________/55 points (11 points per explanation)
