Helpful Review Resources

Hey there, WHAP warriors! It's that time of year when we have to begin thinking about how to prepare for the upcoming AP exam. You will receive a study packet in class in April, and we will also do lots of review activities and games in class. However, it is critical that you spend time outside of class studying if you want to earn a 3, 4, or 5. To that end, here are some helpful review resources. There are brief descriptions included for each so you can choose the ones that best target your areas that could use improvement. The ones we think are MOST valuable have an asterik (*) beside them. Most of these resources are free, but some require you to purchase them. Please understand that you are NOT required to purchase any outside materials, although we encourage you to if it's possible.

If you use any other resources that you find helpful, let us know and we can add it to the blog!

***Section III Content Terms (completes your review packet)

***iScore5-available in the App Store

Great review resource designed for AP exams, but it costs about $5.

***Review Books

AP review books are incredibly helpful, if you have the resources to purchase one. Here are a couple of links to two of the most popular ones, Princeton & Barron's (they can be purchased at bookstores or online). If you purchase, make sure to get the 2017 edition/revised edition that has been updated to match the new format!

Password: lonestar

Click on High School Tools for Academic Skills Question Banks, AP Tests, GED, and STAAR.

You will need to register because that is the only way to show test scores and progress each time taking a test or course. You must SAVE your work as you go – do not click SCORE until you are finished with test.

An email isn’t required, but know that if you don’t enter an email, then you won’t be able to get username or password help if you forget either of those. This is also the only way to be shown your test scores and track your progress.
